Terms of Service

The agreement between you and TenKHours. If anything here is unclear, write to us — we'd rather explain than litigate.

1. The agreement

By downloading or using TenKHours ("the app"), you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard end-user license agreement, the Apple EULA, which is incorporated by reference. Where Apple's EULA and these terms conflict, Apple's EULA controls for matters concerning App Store distribution.

2. License

You're granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use TenKHours on any Apple device tied to your Apple ID, for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the app or any portion of it.

3. Subscriptions and purchases

Pro is offered via auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock through the App Store:

  • Yearly Protenkhours.pro.yearly, includes a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers.
  • Monthly Protenkhours.pro.monthly.
  • Lifetime Protenkhours.pro.lifetime, a one-time purchase.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage and cancel subscriptions any time from Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under their refund policy.

Free trials, when offered, are available only to users who have not previously subscribed. If you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use TenKHours in a way that violates law, infringes someone's rights, or attempts to circumvent the Pro entitlement system. If you find a bug that grants Pro features without paying, tell us — we'll thank you, not sue you.

5. Your content

Anything you write inside TenKHours — notes, journal entries, skill names — is yours. We don't see it, can't access it, and never will. Your content stays on your device (and, optionally, in your private iCloud).

6. Disclaimer of warranties

TenKHours is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise the app is free of bugs, that mastery will follow, or that ten thousand hours of any specific kind of practice will produce world-class results.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to TenKHours is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months preceding the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost practice time, missed milestones, or hurt feelings.

8. Termination

You may stop using TenKHours and delete it at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of pre-paid subscription fees beyond what Apple's refund policy provides.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
